Fu 01 Wood, the world´s eldest and still most common fuel

Wood even today is the world´s most important fuel for cooking, heating and lighting. After world war 2 wood  was even a used to fuel for cars in Germany.

* Light a match, leave it to burn completely, blow it out, and leave it to cool off.
* Hold the black side of the match between your thumb and forfinger and invert it.
* Light the unburnt side by a second match.  The chemical reaction of wood results in carbon.
