Preparing
pharmaceutical bottles (injection bottles = ampoules, infusion bottles)
for experiments
Prior to the experiment
pour boiling water on the Liquemin ampoules in a halved TetraPak box.
If the labels can be easily
removed after cooling start with the experiment.
In the other case you will
get rid of the labels by keeping the closed ampoules in paraffin.
Experiment
* Photo 1: Use pliers to
remove the metal and the rubber closures from the ampoules. Drag at a ring
to get rid of the bottles closures.
* Photo
2: Rinse the bottles and the closures in warm water with detergent
and then under running water.
* Photo
3: Sterilize the containers and the closures (rubber and metal) by
heating in a pressure cooker.
