"Electric conductivity" is the property of a liquid, a solid (or a gas) to let electricity pass.
It can be tested using a battery and a LED.
To measure electric conducticity you need a digital multimeter. Commercial devices use alternative current. For student experiments a 9-V battery is also suitable.
