What
has happened to the water inside the pan?
It can only have disappeared
into the air and become invisible. The same happens when your bathing suit
dries after swimming or when a piece of
jellyfish dries up. The water evaporated:

quickly inside the tower, leaves it and can be seen again as white clouds.

light or above a micro burner: The water of the Cola is
boiling. At the air you can see "clouds" (water vapour).
